Our 8th Grade Graduate
Congrats Emily!
8th Grade Graduation | Evergreen Institute of Excellence
Time just slips by way too fast. Seemed like just yesterday, this girl was just learning to talk and now here she is…graduating 8th grade! She’s grown into such a beautiful, Godly, young lady. She is full of life, talented, and makes the BEST coffees and breakfast dishes! I am totally spoiled by her! I’ll be working away in my home office and she’ll bring me a tray full of goodies with an iced coffee to keep me going. I just love it!
Even though I shudder to think that one of our kiddos is now entering High School…I am super excited for what the next 4 years will hold! She will be attending the same high school that I graduated from!!! Back then it was Shasta Secondary Home School, but today it’s Shasta Charter Academy. She’s going to do great, I just know it!! Her classes are all lined out and she’ll be taking more piano lessons! Yay!!! She has always had an interest and talent for the piano so I can’t wait to see her grow even more.
When we arrived for the graduation ceremony, we were shocked to find out that Emily had won an academic award called “The President’s Award for Educational Achievement” for both English and Math! She is also on the honor roll for carrying a GPA over 3.0 throughout her middle school years. The ceremony was super fun, even though it was outdoors due to the pandemic. Thankfully it wasn’t one of the hot days! We actually ended up with a thunderstorm that rolled in right at the end of all the festivities! Phew! We are so appreciative of all the teachers and staff of Evergreen Institute of Excellence and especially for our main facilitator, Mrs. Greve! She has helped us so much the past 4 years!! Our kids just love her and we do too! :)
Ems, we are so proud of you! May God continue to lead and guide you through this next season of your life. And always know that we are here for you, cheering for you, and praying for you…ALWAYS!
Love, Dad & Momma Jen
