When I got the message from Roxann about doing a family session in the lavender fields, I was like “YES!!!!” I could spend hours in the lavender! We had such a good time, the boys did great and really enjoyed running through the rows of lavender being chased by their Auntie Ashley! (See Ashley’s Blog Post in the Lavender fields HERE) Golden Hour at the lavender fields with a beautiful family like this one just makes for such dreamy images!
29 Rows Lavender Field is nestled in Happy Valley, California. It’s a hidden gem with gorgeous lavender rows, a succulent garden, and a vegetable garden. They make all sorts of amazing products and you can find them often at the Farmer’s Markets in town. We are so appreciative of their willingness to have photographers out to their farm!!
I met Roxann probably about 10 years ago if I recall correctly… Her momma was the treasurer for Nor-Cal Think Pink where I started volunteering back in 2008/2009ish (time just flies by too fast). Her sister, Ashley, and I became good friends and we even got to work together for a while at Walker Printing! Roxann also worked at Real Deals in Redding, one of my FAVORITE home decor shops in town! I was so sad when they closed down. It was always super fun to pop in and say hi and find super fun goodies there!
