Chico Winter Engagement Session
Ashley + Eric
Meeting Ashley and Eric was such a joy! They are so sweet and absolutely perfect for each other. I just loved their olive green outfits which went so well with both locations! We met at the Chico Seed Orchard to start and walked the Comanche Trail finding all sorts of beautiful spots. We even found a blooming almond tree! I jump at any chance I get to surround my clients with gorgeous blooms. Makes my photographer heart so happy. Haha!
Part way through the engagement session, we jumped back in our cars and drove further up Skyway towards Paradise to the Butte Creek Watershed Overlook. This location is epic! We waited for the sun to go down just a little bit more which allowed me to photograph Ashley’s beautiful engagement ring. Then the sun hit that sweet spot, golden hour! And that’s when magic happened! These two, their amazing posing skills, the epic location, and gorgeous light just took my breath away.
Fun facts about these two, Eric is a photographer as well! (Visit his website HERE) He does beautiful portraits and weddings in the Chico area. And when he’s not behind the camera he’s crunching numbers as a CPA. Ashley works as a nurse. They both met at church, started chatting and the rest is history in the making!
