This was my first time photographing a session at the historic Bidwell Mansion in Chico, California and ya’ll I’m obsessed!!! I guess I never realized it had a wrap-around porch with beautiful arches at the front entry! It was the perfect spot to get gorgeous family photos done even though it was raining.
I absolutely loved getting to meet and photograph the DeKellis Family! They were so sweet! Their Christmas sweaters were on point too. Love!! Originally we were going to do their session at the Upper Bidwell Park area near the golf course, but the weather turned and there was just no way around the rain. Haha! But I’m kinda glad! Bidwell Mansion and their outfits blended to perfection. And we were still able to get those fall colors while being under cover!

I loved everything about Jade and Jackson’s summer engagement session in Old Shasta, California! The historic brick ruins were the perfect contrast to Jade’s burnt orange floral dress and later her white maxi dress. She wore the cutest cowgirl boots too.
