The Brown Family
We were so fortunate it didn’t rain for the sweet Brown Family’s Mini Session! Instead, we had soft overcast skies which gave us gorgeous lighting at Lema Ranch in Redding, California. It was such an honor getting to capture Kelli and Garrett along with their adorable kiddos! The kids did so well at listening to my posing prompts! They all were naturals.
I’ve been a family photographer for over a decade and most of the time I arrive on location first before my clients arrive, but the Brown Family had arrived early and they were ready to go! (and this was a morning session too!) I was so impressed!!! We started the session to the side of the iconic olive tree pathway then made our way into the main path. I just love those ancient olive trees, they’re beautiful! We also got some fall colors in the background when we moved down towards the pond with all the cattails. Luke didn’t like the smell of the cattails though and made some of the cutest facial expressions! Haha!
Some of my favorite photos of Claire were of her twirling with her cute dress. You can tell she enjoys her dance classes! I loved the sweet interactions between her and her brother, Luke. So precious! Luke reminded me so much of my own nephew who’s also named Luke. He enjoys playing soccer and basketball with his friends.
Brown Family, it was a pleasure getting to meet you all and photograph your sweet family. You can just see the love you all have for each other which is such a beautiful thing. I hope our paths cross again in the future! God Bless!
