Can I just brag about this family for a minute? I am so proud of my sister and the beautiful family they’ve created! She went from being a holy terror to a mature, fun-loving, wonderful mom and wife. I could tell ya stories…haha! Like the time she about shredded my back with her nails cause we were fighting about something…don’t even remember what. Or the times she’d answer the phone when it was a phone solicitor and would totally torture the poor person on the other end! (I kinda felt sorry for them…haha!) Even with all her shenanigans, I couldn’t have asked for a better sister! And trust me, I’m not without my share of shenanigans either…(Like the time I pushed her off the recliner and just about broke her arm…Or the time I “accidentally” bit her nose…HAHAHAHA)
We had such a great time capturing their family portraits at the Camden House in French Gulch, California near Whiskeytown Lake. It was a busy day out there! There were about 4 other photographers there as well. It was a bit overcast but that didn’t stop these portraits from looking amazing! Of course their outfits were just SPOT ON! The gold velvet with the navy blue was beautiful! Lillian’s dress was adorable too. I was just a tiny bit nervous during the shoot because my sister is recovering from a broken ankle and with all the walking around I was afraid she’d hurt herself. But she took that brace off anyways and maneuvered around like a champ.
We also did a second outfit for Wayne and Lillian which were matching Christmas outfits. And they were so adorable! Make sure you scroll to the end to see my favorites of those! You’ll see the “Wayne Stare” also. Haha! You’ll know what I mean when you scroll down. :)
