Barnes & Noble on Hilltop

It was such an honor getting to photograph the new Barnes & Noble location on Hilltop Drive in Redding, California. The new location is absolutely perfect! It’s such a cozy vibe when you first walk in. They have the cafe to your left, then almost every book imaginable! There are special areas for kids, seating areas to relax and read, and special events. One display of books had me captivated and that was the bread making section! Haha, I know, I know, I’m obsessed.

So not only did they need a real estate photographer to capture the exterior and interior of the store, but they also wanted portraits of the grand opening with customers shopping and interacting with the special events planned that morning. I had a blast wandering around the store capturing folks reading books. They also had Squishy Doodle Face Painting there, which was so fun for the kids!
