Rikki + James
It was a beautiful summer morning when we headed to Chico for Rikki and James’ wedding day! When we arrived at the girl’s getting ready location, hair and makeup was in full swing with lots of fun and music filling the room. Rikki had all her details ready for me which was so helpful! Her dress was absolutely stunning. We couldn’t wait to see James’ reaction to seeing her at their first look. We also couldn’t have been more impressed by James’ organization skills! He had everything lined up for us, including a perfectly detailed timeline. It was a huge help!
The whole day was filled with special moments. Especially between Rikki and her parents. The moment Rikki pinned the memorial photograph of her brother on her mom’s dress, I had to fight back tears. Rikki and James shared private vows to each other before the ceremony which was so sweet! Their ceremony was a beautiful traditional Catholic wedding ceremony in both English and Spanish. The way the priest brought both languages together was beautiful. The wedding colors they chose, Hunter Green and Gold, coordinated so well with the ornate architecture and design of the church. Again, it was just so beautiful!
What better way to end the festivities of the wedding day than to have a pool party with a taco truck catering for your reception! The highlight for me was Rikki and James jumping into the pool together. That was just epic! Everyone made us feel like guests too, which was so sweet. We were truly honored to get to document their wedding day. Originally, a photographer friend of mine, Amber Enos, was set to photograph their wedding but an unexpected life situation happened outside of her control. 🙁 I’m so thankful I had the date open to cover for her! Oak Hollow Farms Wedding with Amber Enos Photography
I was so excited to get to work alongside Amber Enos Photography on this beautiful Oak Hollow Farms Wedding Day! The day was absolutely perfect. A GOVER RANCH WEDDING
Wow! What a beautiful wedding day for Makenzie & Jon! From laughter to happy tears, the day was filled with pure joy and happiness. Several speeches at the reception had me in tears with such great wisdom being passed on to them from their elders. It was so sweet!
A TEHAMA MICRO WEDDING
Their special day took place at the Tehama Assembly of God church in Tehama, California. A beautiful old-fashioned church building with wood walls and pews! The ceremony included their children who were so excited to become siblings! It was the sweetest ever. Both Kacee and Joshua had special vows prepared for the kiddos too which brought tears to my eyes!
