Centerville Estates Summer Wedding

As we pulled into Centerville Estates we just knew it was going to be a gorgeous summer wedding day for Kristie and Shawn! And boy was it! Everyone was so upbeat and excited, it was wonderful. This was the perfect venue choice for them. Shawn does a lot of fishing and guided fishing trips, so when I saw all the fish mounts on the walls in the bridal suite…I was like “oh Shawn is going to love these portraits of Kristie!” Haha!
Centerville Estates also has its very own museum of almost every animal you can imagine. I wish I could’ve gone in myself, but Matt and the guys sure enjoyed it! The venue also backs up to a creek and large bluff with a sandy beach-like area. This spot was so beautiful for the sunset portraits we did later on. Simply stunning! The reception area was right next to this spot too and the setup was just awesome.
All along the stretch of buildings, are manicured lawns and stone pathways that give you a whimsical garden feel. Kristie and Shawn shared their first look in one of those areas and it was so dreamy. The ceremony location was also another spot that was just so beautiful! The arch at the front was covered in naturally grown ivy. At the back of the ceremony site was a stone staircase leading up to one of the houses. It was on this staircase that we took some of my absolute favorite portraits of the day! Everyone had such a great time at the reception. We especially loved capturing Kristie’s mom, Lisa, and her friends on the dance floor! And we’ll never forget the moment when the DJ, Chris, showed everyone how to do the cupid shuffle, absolutely epic!
I just have to say, Kristie, Shawn and their families were all some of the sweetest people we’ve ever met. They treated us like we’ve been friends for years and we were so appreciative of their kindness! We loved every minute of their wedding day and it was an absolute honor getting to cover as their wedding photographers for Amber Enos. (Amber we hope you get better soon!!) Kristie and Shawn, congratulations! We are so happy for you both and hope our paths cross again someday. We wish you a lifetime of happiness together!

REDDING ELKS LODGE WEDDING
We started Christine and Mark’s wedding day at the bridal suite in the Sheraton Hotel near the Sundial Bridge. It was a beautiful suite! It opened up into the courtyard where we captured some gorgeous photos of Christine getting into her amazing dress and putting the long flowy veil on for the first time. The room was filled with joy and laughter as the girls all got ready. Meanwhile Matt met up with the guys and hung out all while chatting about hunting, fishing, and you know the things guys always talk about!
