Old Shasta Family Portraits
Meet the Wolf & Nelson Family
Family Portraits in Old Shasta, California
It’s always a privilege to meet sweet families like these two! The Wolf & Nelson Family were so fun to be around and they even brought their furry family members as well! The dogs were so well behaved, I was impressed. I was also excited that they chose Old Shasta, California for their family session! It has been years since I photographed at this location and it’s beautiful. The old brick ruins are just awesome. If you haven’t visited this area before, I highly recommend you at that to your bucket list!
I found out at this session that Marlene & Larry were celebrating their 45th Wedding Anniversary!!!! Isn’t that amazing and just awesome! I love finding couples who have been married for many years. It’s inspiring to me. They’re an adorable couple who still love each other like the first day they fell in love!
I met Brittany several years ago when she joined the Nor-Cal Think Pink Board of directors. She is amazing at what she does! She spearheaded the first 5K walk/run fundraising event last year that was a huge success. And she does a lot of behind the scenes work for raising breast cancer awareness in our community. It’s a privilege to work with her on the board!
One of my favorite parts of this session was getting Stephen to laugh! :) So sweet! You can tell this family loves spending lots of time together. They especially love football and the great outdoors. I also really enjoyed photographing Brittany & Josh’s three little dogs. They are adorable! Brittany brought a squeak toy for them which worked wonders to get them to look right at the camera! Normally it’s not that easy to photograph with dogs, but these little guys were pros! Oh and one more thing…I had a great time pulling Josh’s goofy side out in front of the camera! Haha! Brittany and Marlene were great at making funny faces and we finally got one out of Josh towards the end! Success!
So glad to have met you all! Best wishes and hope to see you all again soon! -Jen
