Family Portraits at the Old Courthouse

Juanita and I have been planning their family pictures for quite a while! And when it came down to it, their outfits were perfect, the location was perfect, the time was perfect, it was just perfect!! The smoke in the area was pretty bad in the days before the shoot but Thank God it cleared up just enough so we didn’t have to cancel!! :)

The Tehama County Courthouse (well the old one now since they built a new one on Walnut Street), is one of my favorite places to photograph in Red Bluff. The vintage columns, the brick, the marble entryway, the stairs leading up to the columns, the landscaping around it! Just lots of fun and beautiful options! (Ya’ll are going to die when you get further down the post and see the image of baby Karishma on the marble entry! Magazine cover worthy!!!)

Juanita and I have worked together for over a year now at Walker Printing on Walnut Street. I so appreciate her! She’s a hard worker and I know that if I give her something to do, it will get done and I don’t have to worry about it. Unfortunately workers like this are hard to find, so she’s a major keeper!!! Everyone in the shop just loves her. :)

Jiggs’ uncle has a collection of antique cameras! They brought a couple of them to use as props and the one of Juanita acting like she’s taking a photograph of me is just my favorite! So fun! I’d love to eventually start a collection like that. So cool!! And they work too! Just would need film in them though…

Jiggs & Juanita, you have a beautiful family! And it was an honor to get to capture you all! Hope you have an amazing Holiday Season, filled with love and lots of laughter.
