Elizabeth + Kurt | Engaged
Empire Mine Destination Engagement Session
Empire Mine State Park | Grass Valley, California
As soon as we pulled into the parking lot and met Elizabeth and Kurt for the first time, I knew they were the perfect fit for us! They were so easy-going and relaxed the whole time! It made my job easy! They followed instructions so well and trusted me every step of the way. :) They’re such a sweet couple! You can totally tell how in love they are by how they interact with one another.
Matt and I had such a wonderful time getting to know them during their engagement session! Elizabeth is teaching 1st grade this year and I give major kudos to her for navigating through the craziness with the pandemic and distance learning! It’s been a challenging year but with people like her, we’ll be fine! :) Kurt does a lot of estimating work for PG&E around the area that they live in. They met at a brewery in the Fall of 2016 and started dating in March of 2017. The rest is history and I’m so excited about their upcoming wedding in 2021!!!
If you’ve never been to Empire Mine State Park in Grass Valley, California…Put it on your bucket list! This location is beautiful and was the PERFECT spot for their engagement session! It has a beautiful Edwardian-style Cottage with stone walls, brick accents, a rose garden with greenhouse, big tall trees, and reflection pools. It was breathtaking! And I just loved the outfits Elizabeth chose! (Her black maxi gown is from Southern Alternative in case you were wondering!) It went perfectly with the scenery. The weather was beautiful in Grass Valley too, not super hot and not super smokey either!
Matt and I are so honored to be the ones capturing their love for each other and we can’t wait to be with them on their wedding day!!!
