Dog Island Park Winter Family Session | Red Bluff, California
So great to meet up with Juanita and Jiggs again! Last time I photographed them was in 2018!! (See their previous session here) The kiddos are sure growing up fast. Karishma looked like a princess in her beautiful purple gown! And the boys looked so handsome in their dress shirts and slacks. This was my first time photographing at Dog Island Park in Red Bluff and the footbridge is really neat. We also had a big rain puddle that I was able to get an awesome reflection shot with! So fun!!! It was a beautiful day!
We started their session on the footbridge there at Dog Island Park, then walked around to a side pathway that has some gorgeous glowy sunset light! We then headed back towards the parking lot where we were joined by both Grandma’s!!! So fun to capture some portraits of them with their grandbabies. :) I’ve known Juanita for several years and that was the first time I got to meet her mom, such a sweet lady! My son, Jared, was with me on this shoot and she taught him some cool baton moves with her cane and a stick that he had found. Haha! It was awesome.
I just loved their outfit colors: Purple, Lavender, Gray and Black! It was the perfect contrast with the landscape around Dog Island Park. So excited to share my favorites from their family session! Go ahead and scroll!!! :)
