Words cannot describe how proud I am of Rebekah & Jason! Planning a wedding can be so stressful on its own, but throw in a pandemic and being surrounded by wildfires! These two did amazing at keeping their heads up and pressing forward no matter what. And it was such a beautiful day! Even though there was smoke in the air, it gave the day a whimsical feeling. The ceremony and reception were held at a gorgeous country ranch nestled in Nevada City, California. Rolling hills with cattle spread out here and there, geese flying overhead…yes, it was perfect despite all the challenges along the way!!
Rebekah’s dress was absolutely stunning! It’s a lace column dress with a cream undertone from Simply Elegant Bridal Boutique! The beading on her dress was so pretty! It was the perfect dress for her!! And her florals….oh you guys, they were top-notch and sooo beautiful! They were everything Rebekah had hoped for which made everyone so happy! The bridesmaid’s dresses were beautiful mermaid-style dresses in navy, dusty blue, gray, and burgundy. Everyone wore boots! Which made me feel like I should’ve brought mine too. Haha! The guys had super cool camo vests with bright orange ties! The lace and camo was a perfect blend for a ranch wedding. :)
And speaking of Bridesmaids, I just have to say this group of girls were amazing to work with! They were so helpful and fun! And they were so considerate of everything Rebekah needed and wanted throughout the day. What good friends!!!! I love that. It’s such a blessing to have your close friends with you on such a special day. It was also super fun riding with them over to the ranch! Haha! We had a great time.
One more super fun fact about this wedding day is I photographed it with my brand new baby, a Nikon D780!!! I LOVED it! I never was a huge fan of the Live View mode, until I tried it on this new model with the Bride’s details…and I just fell in love with that feature!
