Anderson River Park Family Mini Session | Runnings Family

One of the greatest joys I have as a family photographer is the honor of photographing a family multiple times! It’s fun getting to see families grow and photograph the growth as memories they can reflect on for years to come. I absolutely loved getting to photograph the Runnings Family again here at Anderson River Park. The weather was absolutely perfect and the glowy light was simply amazing at the park that evening.

Anderson River Park

Anderson River Park is located in Anderson, California right alongside the Sacramento River (hence the name!). My favorite section of the park is the back entrance along the drive that takes you to the horseback riding trails. The road is lined with beautiful trees and a unique wood fence that’s only about 2-3 feet tall. One of the trails off the main road takes you to a huge fallen tree. It’s just the perfect spot for a park photoshoot!

The Runnings Family

Last time I photographed the Runnings Family, Victoria was just a few months old. Now she’s over 7 months old! We tried our hardest to get a smile out of her, but only managed to get a super cute little smirk instead! I loved the outfit colors they went with too. Blue, Maroon, and yellow compliment each other so well.

Family Mini Sessions

One thing I love about doing mini sessions is that it’s the perfect amount of time for small children. I mean, they can only handle so much of me being in their face with a big black camera. Haha! I do find some kids that love the experience but not all and that’s totally ok! This is why I started offering mini sessions year round and it’s been a total hit. So if you’re in need of an Anderson Family Photographer, let me know!
