Winter Family Mini Sessions at the Camden House
It was such a treat getting to photograph these two families! I’ve known Cari and Mira since I was 8 years old. I actually babysat Mira a few times when she was a newborn! I can’t believe how grown up she is now. She’s such a beautiful young lady! So proud of her.
I also got to photograph my Brother-in-law’s brother, Brandon, and his sweet family! They are such a joy to be around. I loved watching Brandon and Kellyn laugh together. Reminds me so much of Sarah and Raul! Haha!
The Outfits
I just have to take a minute to talk about their outfits! Mira looked stunning in her ivory sweater, felt hat, black leather mini skirt and tan knee high boots. Cari’s leopard print jacket was so pretty and contrasted so well with Mira’s outfit. They looked awesome!!
Brandon, Kellyn and Bella had the perfect blend of blue jeans and black! I love how they alternated top and bottom, so Kellyn had a blue jean blouse where Bella had a black shirt and blue jeans. It was perfect for a winter family session!
The Location
If you’ve followed me for any amount of time, you probably know how much I love photographing at the historic Camden House in French Gulch, California. There are so many amazing spots there at all times of the day and for every season! I’ve shot there in the dead of winter, the fall time, spring and summer! And no matter what, I can always find great light, great composition and a great variety of portraits. It’s right off HWY 299 and about 20 minutes from Redding, so not too far to travel either. If you’re trying to find a great location for your next session, give this one a try!
