Special 35th Wedding Anniversary

Special 35th Wedding Anniversary Celebration

Skokomish Community Church | Shelton, Washington

What a special time we all had at my Grandparents 35th Wedding Anniversary Celebration! Family members came from all over the US to be together on this special day. To commemorate the marriage of two very special people. The festivities took place at the Skokomish Community Church in Shelton, Washington. Beautiful country church nestled in the Skokomish Valley. It’s peaceful out there in the valley and the landscape is just gorgeous.

Grandpa is a Korean War Veteran and Grandma a retired nurse. Together the two are pillars in our family with many stories to share and a great love for family togetherness. It was such a blessing to get to capture this celebration, document their certificate of marriage and wedding rings, and photograph the whole family together. (Special thanks to Gerald for snapping a few of the shots for me so I could be in the pictures too!)

There’s another reason this occasion was so important to many of us...Grandpa has been battling cancer for a while now. And while he’s doing well right now at fighting, we just never know when our time is done here on earth. Bringing the family together while you have a chance to is so important and I want to encourage everybody to spend as much time as you can with the special people in your life!

Grandpa & Grandma, I love you both so very much! I hope you had an incredible 35th Wedding Anniversary and I sure can’t wait to get back up there to see you both again soon! Thank you for being pillars in our family and setting the example to us all of the true love and dedication that marriages should have.

Happy 35th Wedding Anniversary!
