Wow, these two were so much fun! I just love how happy they are together and how Art can make Savannah laugh! So sweet! They both work at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Red Bluff and enjoy spending time together bike riding, hiking, eating lunch at the park, and watching the river. You can tell Savannah is such a compassionate, caring person! Which is one of the things Art loves most about her. :)
I don’t know about you but I LOVE proposal stories! Especially when the proposal comes at such an unexpected moment! And Art planned this one perfectly! The proposal took place at their home one early morning. Savannah was enjoying her coffee and folding laundry in her son’s room when Art came in from mowing the lawn outside. He walked over to where she was working and got down on one knee! Savannah was so shocked and overwhelmed with joy that Art had to remind her she hadn’t given him an answer yet! Of course, she said, “YES!” :) Such a beautiful moment for these two!
When Savannah mentioned that Shasta Dam was one of the first places they frequented as a couple, I was super excited! I absolutely love shooting at new places and Shasta Dam is now on my favorite list. The day of the shoot ended up being perfect weather, not too warm, and with some cloud coverage! We even got a few rain droplets in between outfits but the rain held off until we were finished! Oh, and can we just chat about Savannah’s engagement ring for a minute?! A beautiful sapphire with two diamonds on either side! The sapphire is Savannah’s birthstone and the diamond is Art’s, so it’s just perfect for them!
