Savannah and Art’s Beach Front Wedding at Crescent Beach CA | Beach Wedding CA

Art and Savannah’s beach wedding at Crescent Beach CA was absolutely amazing! They were the sweetest couple and some of the most laid back people I’ve ever met. This beach wedding just FITS them and their personality so well! All their family were in town because it was the 4th of July, and they were able to be there to celebrate with Savannah and Art as they tied the knot.

All The Little Details

When we arrived, we met Savannah at the hotel. It was raining a bit but she was just happy that they were getting married. The details were beautiful with blues, yellows and lots of seashells. Her dress . . . Y’all, it was practically homemade!

Art had bought Savannah’s dress earlier, and when it came, she didn’t quite like the top portion of the dress. But her friend, Jen, literally took apart the dress and remade the top for her! This dress was so beautiful when she was done.

And there’s more! Savannah started with an artificial handmade bouquet made by her friend Sally. But she didn’t love the way it looked with her dress, so she and Art worked together to create a handmade bouquet of fresh flowers they bought from the store!

It was so sweet that Art and Savannah got to work on something for their wedding day like that!

A Crescent Beach Wedding in Del Norte, CA

When we got to the beach, the officiant was there and they filled out their paperwork before moving down toward the shore for the ceremony. There was no music, and it was PERFECT! The sound of the waves on the shore was the best soundtrack for a couple like Savannah and Art. Like I said, this wedding fit their personality so well, and you could tell how much they loved one another. They didn’t need anything other than the sand, wind and sea and of course, each other!

Okay Guys, Just One More Shot!

Next up were the family formals. And, by this point the rain had stopped so we were able to get everything we wanted for photos so easily. After the family formals, we moved the newlyweds into the sea for some truly beautiful shots of just the two of them! As a wedding photographer, I was freaking out on the inside as I saw those epic images pop up on the back of my camera screen!

As the reception came around, the family ate Art’s BBQ, beachside (No relation to the groom!) Savannah handed out beautiful Turkish towels as wedding favors to all the guests! Everyone was super appreciative and loved the fact that the Bride and Groom were even looking to serve others on their own wedding day!

A Fireworks Ending

After everyone was fed, Art and Savannah had a sparkler exit and it was so much fun! Everyone got to line up and wish the new couple well as they sent them off to the rest of their lives together, complete with laughter and celebration!

Finally, the day ended as everyone was just hanging out and enjoying the improved weather, waiting for the 4th of July fireworks celebration that would soon be visible from the beach! It was the perfect way to end such a special day!

Congrats Savannah and Art, we are so happy for you both! And we are truly honored to have been there celebrating with you!! :)
