Inside a Lavish Traditional Northern California Home
Redding Architectural Photographer
What a gorgeous home! It was such an honor to photograph this lavish traditional styled home nestled in the hills of Northern California. This home was built by Imperial Woodworks, Inc. and designed/decorated by Shelley Farrell Designs, both here in Redding, California. The tile work and slab counters were done by Ceramic Designs by Ron Green, in Redding also. Stunning craftsmanship went into this home!
The kitchen countertops were adorned with the timeless quartzite stone, Taj Mahal. A crystal-like natural stone with beige and cream tones. Shelley did an amazing job pairing the stone with Arizona Tile’s Flash Lead 3”x12” tile as the full height backsplash. The cabinetry was equally as stellar! The Taj Mahal also was used in the laundry room but was paired with TileBar’s Paint Terracotta 3”x16” tile. The floor tile in the laundry was so awesome! That tile was from Tile Shop called Britannia Soho 8”x8”.
Then we get to the two bathrooms. Simply wow! The guest bathroom, with its wainscoting and stunning wallpaper design, was the perfect blend of Traditional design elements. The shower tile was also Arizona Tile Flash but the Ivory 5”x5”. Simple but yet so elegant! Then we get to the Master Bathroom Suite…walking in, you naturally drop your jaw! The vanity extended from wall to wall and included a his and hers sink along with a lowered makeup counter. The countertops were a porcelain slab by IRG called Epic Calacatta Supreme. The walk-in shower was also the same porcelain slab, floor to ceiling. Incredible!
