Meet the Hampton Family! I had such a great time capturing these family photos for them. We met at the Turtle Bay Gardens in Redding, California on a beautiful Saturday morning. The soft glowy light that seeped through the trees was absolutely stunning! This was their first professional family session and they totally rocked it. They were naturals!
Turtle Bay Gardens Parking Lot
The gardens were still closed due to the cleanup of the Redding Garden of Lights festivities. So we used several beautiful spots right there in the parking lot! Thank you to Turtle Bay for having such a beautiful parking lot… HAHA! It was so special getting to capture the love between a father and his children. Just made my day! So thank you, Marcus, for trusting me to take these portraits for you and your kiddos! It was an honor!

A RAINY ENGAGEMENT SESSION
Cara and Brad’s engagement session was proof that it is possible to photograph in the RAIN! I woke up the morning of their session and thought “oh no…” when I checked the weather. I monitored the weather app all day and the rain percentage kept getting higher and higher. Cara and Brad travelled up from Davis so there was no turning back. So we WENT FOR IT!
WINTER FAMILY MINI SESSIONS AT THE CAMDEN HOUSE
It was such a treat getting to photograph these two families! I’ve known Cari and Mira since I was 8 years old. I actually babysat Mira a few times when she was a newborn! I can’t believe how grown up she is now. She’s such a beautiful young lady! So proud of her.
I also got to photograph my Brother-in-law’s brother, Brandon, and his sweet family! They are such a joy to be around. I loved watching Brandon and Kellyn laugh together. Reminds me so much of Sarah and Raul! Haha!
LEMA RANCH FALL FAMILY SESSIONS | REDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
I’ve had the honor of photographing multiple families in back to back sessions here recently! These two sessions took place at Lema Ranch, a beautiful section of the property at McConnell Foundation that has the iconic olive tree lined pathway and a pond on either side. It’s a beautiful location. I just love how olive trees photograph and especially with the sunset glow! It’s a little bit of a walk to get back to this spot but so worth it.
