A Cold Winter Family Mini Session at the Camden House
It was a crisp chilly morning at the Camden House in French Gulch, California. But that didn’t stop us and the sweet Monfiero Family! We were so honored to capture photos of their beautiful family. Their oldest daughter, Victoria, came up with her own posing and it was perfect! She’s a natural. Amelia and Albert were a little unsure of the crazy lady with the big camera, haha! But they still did awesome.
We started their session in front of my favorite stretch of white picket fencing there at the Camden House. It’s a long stretch that spans all the way back to the footbridge. Several oak trees grow near the fence line as well. It’s a great spot for walking shots! We then moved to the front of the house for one more quick family shot before doing some Mom and Dad portraits on the porch. The right corner of the porch at the Camden House has become my second favorite spot there! Especially in the morning. The sunlight filters in behind my families/couples and it’s just so beautiful! OUR BIG FAMILY 2022 | ANDERSON CALIFORNIA PHOTOGRAPHER
You guys…WE DID IT! We got our entire family together for portraits! It was no easy feat, let me tell you. Haha! But with the use of a sturdy tripod and a good checklist of all the shots we needed to capture, it was a success. We also buffered in some extra time to play with my dad’s 1957 Ford Car and my Brother-in-law’s Bobcat excavator!
SUSANVILLE RANCH PARK FAMILY MINI SESSIONS
I’m so excited to share these two family mini sessions with you! This was my first time photographing in Susanville, California! And let me tell you…Susanville Ranch Park is GORGEOUS! As soon as we pulled into the park, my heart skipped a beat. Beautiful hills and mountains with autumn colored trees in the background, wispy tall dried grasses everywhere, and a wooden footbridge in the middle of the park. So many beautiful options for winter family portraits!
WINTER FAMILY MINI SESSIONS AT THE CAMDEN HOUSE
It was such a treat getting to photograph these two families! I’ve known Cari and Mira since I was 8 years old. I actually babysat Mira a few times when she was a newborn! I can’t believe how grown up she is now. She’s such a beautiful young lady! So proud of her.
I also got to photograph my Brother-in-law’s brother, Brandon, and his sweet family! They are such a joy to be around. I loved watching Brandon and Kellyn laugh together. Reminds me so much of Sarah and Raul! Haha!
