A Backyard Rustic Rose Western Wedding

Jade + Jackson

What a dream wedding! Jade and Jackson’s gorgeous wedding day couldn’t have been more perfect! Their ceremony was set for late evening which gave us beautiful lighting the whole time and we got a breeze that kept everyone cool. We just loved being their wedding photographers! It was such an honor!

Let me start off first by telling you a little bit about their special day. Their wedding venue was a private residence that held sweet childhood memories for Jade. I loved hearing about how she used to ride her horse to her friends house up the street. We even took photos in front of the hitching rail she used! Those portraits were some of my favorites! When I first arrived, everyone was working on getting ready and there was just a calm excitement in the air. Matt enjoyed hanging out with Jackson and his brother’s (all the groomsmen!) as they got ready. They even had lightsabers attached to their tux’s! (At the bottom of this post you’ll get to see a fun shot with the lightsabers at the end of the reception. So fun!) The girls were all decked out in beautiful rustic pinks with cowgirl boots or sandals. The bouquets were made out of wooden flowers, crafted by her aunt!

Jade and Jackson’s first look was one of the sweetest moments! The look on his face seeing her for the first time in her wedding dress was just priceless. Jade was absolutely stunning. From there we had fun capturing the entire bridal party, then it was into hiding until the ceremony, which was set for 7:30pm. I have to say, I loved such a late evening ceremony time! It worked out so perfectly! Right after the ceremony was over, we captured a few more family portraits before doing some last minute sunset portraits. I even convinced them to hop across the street to a beautiful open field real quick! The rest of the night was spent with amazing food, dancing, and deserts. It truly was an amazing wedding day!

Jade and Jackson, it truly was an honor getting to photograph your beautiful wedding day! We are so happy for you both and can’t wait to see what’s in store for you in the future. God bless you both!

-Love, Jen & Matt
