Luxurious Real Estate Photoshoot at Twilight | Real Estate Photographer

Near the end of May this year, I got a chance to be the photographer for a beautiful piece of real estate! When I walked into this home, I was in awe. The construction was done by Best Choice Home Improvement, and they are amazing at what they do! But what truly made this house so great was the work that the owner has done!

I would guess this home is valued around the three million dollar range, or at least definitely would be over three million if located in the Bay Area! Its style was one that you don’t see in the area in which it was built. It would be more common in bigger cities in the Bay or LA areas, so this piece of real estate stands out gorgeously in the place it’s located!

Getting to be a photographer for real estate and property is one thing, but getting to shoot this home “at twilight” was another thing entirely. Absolutely LOVE it! I cannot wait until the next time I get to do a twilight shoot.

When I walked into the home, it felt like walking into an art gallery. And for good reason, because the homeowner is an artist! She does gorgeous abstract art. There were so many beautiful pictures hanging up on the walls, and the kicker is that all of them (except for one metal piece) were painted by her!

I actually have a personal connection to this home. My husband, Matt, works with Ceramic Designs which is the company that installed all the countertops, tile and stacked stone in the home! So, when I heard him describe a few of the features, I could only imagine. But now, I know! For example, the kitchen island is nineteen feet long and has a waterfall feature within it. Talk about pretty!

Funny story...while Matt was installing the counters, he had seen the huge walk in closet. He told the guys he was working with “Don’t tell Jen about the closet” because he knew if I had heard about it, I would have been drooling over it and wanting to start plans to build a new home! But, it turns out I was the one photographing the home. So I saw it and ruined his plans! And y’all, Oh. My. Gosh! This closet is a dream closet!

It’s like a whole separate bedroom in there! And there’s this hanging-rod system that is super cool! There’s a single rod that she can use to hang her clothes, and it’s kind of high up, so it’s able to be pulled down and it rests on an island in the middle of the closet. So, it’s super unique, fun and useful!

Another feature that’s interesting is the drying cabinet in the laundry room. It was her own design, and is essentially a huge dehydrator! Except, she can use it to dry all the hand-wash-only and hang-dry-only pieces of clothing she washes. So, she got the cabinet makers to create this drying cabinet for her, and it is so cool!

Getting to be the real estate photographer and shoot this house was absolutely amazing and I can’t wait to shoot more of them! If you’re looking for great real estate photography, you’ve come to the right place! You can learn more about my Real Estate Photography services on my website.
